Similarly, avoid leaving the device and/or consumables inside a vehicle, as prolonged exposure to heat may affect the quality of the consumables and your overall experience.

Your IQOS device knows when it needs to protect itself.
If the device is exposed to very high temperatures, it may temporarily interrupt certain functions or stop operating until it cools down.
This is completely normal and is part of the device's built-in protection features.

FAQs
IQOS ILUMA operates between 0–40°C, while consumables are best stored at room temperature. If they are not stored under the appropriate conditions, their quality and taste may be affected. Here are some useful storage tips:
- Keep your device away from liquids, direct sunlight and heat.
- Do not leave your device in hot places, such as inside a vehicle, as the battery and electronic circuit board may become damaged or significantly deteriorate.
- Store your IQOS device and consumables in a clean, dry and cool place.
- Do not use consumables that have been exposed to excessive heat or humidity.
IQOS ILUMA i PRIME
Before first use, fully charge the Pocket Charger using a compatible AC power adapter (5V, 2A, Type-C output) and a USB Type-C charging cable.
A full charge takes approximately 135 minutes (2 hours and 15 minutes). You can charge the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME Pocket Charger with or without the holder inside. It may take up to 10 minutes to fully charge the holder the first time after opening the package or after a long period of non-use. This is normal.
The IQOS ILUMA i PRIME Pocket Charger does not need to be fully charged to operate; however, we recommend fully charging it before first use.
To charge the holder, place it inside the Pocket Charger and close the cover. The holder status light will indicate the battery level.

The IQOS ILUMA i ONE does not need to be fully charged to operate; however, we recommend fully charging it before first use.
Cleaning your IQOS device is simple. To clean your IQOS device:
- Turn off the device.
- Wait at least 30 seconds for it to cool down.
- Remove the holder.
- Use a dry cloth to clean the device surfaces, including the charging contacts.
- Gently wipe the surfaces until all residue has been removed.
- Once cleaning is complete, place the holder back into the Pocket Charger and switch the device on.
If you experience an issue with your IQOS device while travelling abroad, you may benefit from the International Assistance service, if you are an IQOS CLUB member and own an IQOS or VEEV device.
The permitted quantity of consumables you can bring into another country is generally subject to the same rules that apply to conventional cigarettes and may vary from one country to another.
Before travelling, make sure to check the applicable regulations of your destination country. Local authorities may consider quantities exceeding the import allowance as a violation of customs regulations and may confiscate the products or impose fines.
