This upgraded version of the IQOS ILUMA introduces new advanced features, including a cutting-edge Touch Screen, Pause Mode and FlexPuff, which adapts the device to the adult user's pace of use.
What’s in the box?
The IQOS ILUMA i PRIME comes with a Cable, Pocket Charger and Holder. The Pocket Charger is a compact device that allows you to charge the IQOS Holder, which is used to heat SMARTCORE™ sticks.For added convenience, the Pocket Charger also functions as a case when you are not using it, so you can easily carry and store the device.
This device's standout features include the FlexPuff, FlexBattery, Touch Screen and Pause Mode. The FlexPuff feature is designed to adapt to your puffing style and may provide 4 additional puffs*. The FlexBattery feature adjustable with the IQOS app allows adult users to switch between 'Performance Mode' and 'Eco Mode' to manage the number of experiences. Last, Pause Mode enables adult users to pause experience for up to 8 minutes by simply swiping on the Touch Screen**.
*FlexPuff activation and number of puffs depend on individual usage patterns, thus extra puffs might not apply to all adult consumers and/or experiences. FlexPuff does not activate when pause is used.
**Only available in Performance Mode, during the first 3 minutes or 8 puffs of the experience. When pause is activated, Performance Mode gives you up to two consecutive experiences and pause is available only for one of them.
The device is also the 1st in the IQOS series to feature a Touch Screen, displaying information about your experience such as heating status and remaining usage time.
By simply swiping up or down on the Touch Screen while in Performance Mode, adult users can pause and resume their smoke-free session. Furthermore, the Touch Screen interface offers a modern and user-friendly platform for accessing relevant data about the experience.
How to use the device for the first time
To use the iQOS ILUMA i PRIME:
- Press and hold the Pocket Charger button for 4 seconds, then release.
- Status lights on the Pocket Charger and Holder will slowly turn on.
- Insert the SMARTCORE™ stick into the Holder until it vibrates.
- Heating starts automatically or by swiping up on the Touch Screen.
- When the device vibrates twice, it's ready for use.
- The Touch Screen light guide shows remaining usage time.
While using the device:
- The Touch Screen shows the remaining usage time.
- The Holder vibrates when 30 seconds or 2 puffs remain.
To end the experience:
- Remove and dispose of the used SMARTCORE™ stick according to local regulations.
