When you buy an IQOS device, you are already covered by our IQOS commercial warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase. This will cover you for any manufacturing or material defects appearing in that period. This is different and in addition of any coverage given by statutory guarantees related to delivery of defective products you may have. From 2016, when IQOS was launched in Greece, until today, technology has changed and devices have become more advanced. Therefore, warranty coverage has been adjusted over the years, based on the real needs of the consumer.
2016 – 2019
A new era with support at every step
IQOS makes revolution in tobacco products by introducing heated tobacco devices in a market dominated by cigarettes. During this period, PMI recognizes that the new technology is unfamiliar and potentially complex for adult smokers. Thus, the primary goal is set: Give consumers significant time to adapt to their new journey with IQOS. For these reasons, each device comes with an 1-year commercial warranty that covers almost every defect or wear, regardless of cause, as well as unlimited accidental damage. In case of replacement of a device component, the commercial warranty (for the component) is renewed for 1 year from the date of replacement.
2019 - 2021
Introduction to the Advanced Support Services
Consumers understand the advantages of switching to IQOS and trust it, while support services are also improved. By registering their new device in their profile, they enjoy Advanced Support Services (called IQOS CAREPLUS) and Accidental Damage coverage as the core service. All IQOS devices have an 1-year commercial warranty, which includes Accidental Damage coverage for up to two accidents per device (holder and/or pocket charger). In case of replacement of a device component, the commercial warranty (for the component) is renewed for 1 year from the date of replacement.
2021 – 20/10/2023
Advanced Support Services become an IQOS CLUB benefit
IQOS CLUB is introduced to consumers, offering them exclusive benefits, including the Advanced Support Services. All IQOS devices have a 1-year commercial warranty. By registering their new device on iqos.com and joining IQOS CLUB, consumers enjoy the Advanced Support Services, including Accidental Damage coverage, which now covers 1 accident per device (holder or pocket charger). When component replacement is required, the commercial warranty (for the component) is renewed for 1 year from the date of replacement.

+1 year warranty extension for the IQOS ILUMA i series
The top IQOS ILUMA i series, with its advanced features, brings new standards to heated tobacco. The new generation devices are robust. Τherefore, there is a sharp reduction in replacements compared to previous generation devices with blade technology. IQOS ILUMA i PRIME, IQOS ILUMA i and IQOS ILUMA i ONE come with a 1-year commercial warranty and a +1 year warranty extension under one condition: Device registration and login to IQOS CLUB within 30 days from the purchase date. Accidental Damage coverage is still the core service of Advanced Support Services, but now it’s an exclusive benefit for IQOS ILUMA i PRIME owners.
In case of replacement of a device component, it will be guaranteed for the remaining duration of the original product's warranty period.
